  • Take pictures of any visible damage. Both inside and out.

  • Get at least (1) photo of the front of your house with the house number on it.

  • If there are parts of your home on the ground. Examples: Shingles, soffit, gutters etc. Take photos of these as well.

  • File your claim. It is best to file online if possible because you get a written confirmation as well as an email with your claim number.

  • Take pictures of the inside of your fridge and freezer. If you loose power and file a damage claim, all your perishables are claimable.

  • Keep all receipts related to storm damage and losses you have incurred. It is better to have it rejected than to miss out on a reimbursement.

  • Schedule a roof inspection with us ASAP. We can get roof top photos for your claim. We can also use our drone for pictures if it is not safe to get on your roof.

  • Be careful what you sign with any vendor. The state of Florida allows a (10) day right to cancel on roofing contracts during a state of emergency.
